Swedish eurodance, club, dance and trance singer, songwriter and DJ Basshunter (birth name Jonas Erik Altberg) was born on 22 December 1984, in Halmstad, Sweden. He achieved mainstream success in 2006 with his breakthrough album, LOL, which produced two hit singles such as "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" and "Boten Anna". It also peaked at number 3 on the Denmark Albums Top 40. The album’s lead single, "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA", reached Top Ten on the Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Dutch Singles Charts. It also peaked at number 116 on the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles. The album's second track, "Boten Anna", reached number one on the Irish Singles chart, UK Download Chart and UK Singles Chart.
