Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, known better as Barry Gibb, was born on September 1, 1946 on the Isle of Man. He is an English musician, singer, songwriter and producer and one of the founders of the famous band Bee Gees, together with his brothers Robin and Maurice. This band has become one of the most successful pop acts of all time. Barry rose to fame being the member of this group. Michael Jackson was the godfather of his son Michael. Besides his work with his brothers, he embarked on a solo career. He has released seven studio albums. His debut album Now Voyager came out in 1984. The album spawned a single “Shine Shine” and featured a duet with Olivia Newton-John. Before releasing this album Gibbs sang duet with Barbara Streisand (songs “Guilty” and “What Kind of Fool”).
