American Christian rock, alternative rock and adult contemporary band BarlowGirl from Elgin, Illinois, was formed in 2000. The band comprises three sisters Alyssa Barlow, Becca Barlow and Lauren Barlow. In 2004, they released their self-titled debut album, which produced two singles, "Mirror" (reached number 1 on the Christian Hit Radio Chart) and "Never Alone" (reached number 1 on the Christian Hit Radio Chart and number 1 on the Christian Rock Chart). They achieved mainstream success in 2007 with their album, How Can We Be Silent, which reached number 40 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and later peaked at number 1 on the Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart.
