Michael Bolton is an American former hard rock vocalist and current singer-songwriter and pop-rock artist, born on February 26, 1953 in New Haven, Connecticut, the United States. He was born in Russian family and his birth family name is Bolotin, that’s why his debut self-titled album is called Michael Bolotin. In total, he released 17 studio albums. The peak of his popularity lasted from the end of 1980s till the middle of 1990s. During that time, he released several consecutive multi-platinum albums, like The Hunger, Soul Provider, Time, Love & Tenderness, Timeless: The Classics and The One Thing. His compilation album Greatest Hits has become 3 x Multi-Platinum. Some of his songs have become number one on the Billboard Hot 100, like "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You", "When a Man Loves a Woman".
