Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk metal band formed in Lahti, Finland in 2003. The current band’s members are Jonne Järvelä (vocals, guitar), Kalle "Cane" Savijärvi (guitar), Jarkko Aaltonen (bass), Juho Kauppinen (accordeon), Matti "Matson" Johansson (drums) and Jaakko "Hittavainen" Lemmetty (violin, jouhikko and woodwinds). The band’s name translated as “Forest Clan” from Finnish and the original band’s name was Shamaani Duo consisting of Jonne Järvelä and Maaren Aikio. They combine traditional Finnish melodies and sounds with heavy-metal. The band is one of the most prolific folk bands. They have released three long plays during three years. The debut album Spirit of the Forest was released in 2003 and the last one Karkelo came out in 2009. You can download Korpiklaani’s last album in mp3 from our site.
