British electronic musician, disc jockey, singer-songwriter Aphex Twin (birth name Richard David James) was born on 18 August 1971, in Limerick, Ireland. He states that his music style is influenced by various bands such as Phonic Boy, Computer World, Mental Telepathy, Industrial Inc., Tomita, Tangerine Dream. He achieved mainstream success in 1995 with his album, …I Care Because You Do, which reached number 24 on the UK Albums Chart. It also yielded the singles such as "Wax the nip.", "Icct Hedral (edit)", "VENTOLIN (Video Version.)", "COME ON, YOU SLAGS!" and "Start as you Mean to go on".
