Biography: French progressive rock and electronic music band Ange was formed in 1970 and comprises two brothers Francis Décamps (keyboards) and Christian Décamps (vocals). In the early 1970s, they signed to Éditions Chappell record label and began recording their debut album. Caricatures was released in 1972 and included six tracks. This album also brought the band a contract with Philips record label. A year later, they released their second album, Le Cimetière des arlequins, which yielded several singles such as "De temps en temps", "La Route aux cyprès" and "Aujourd'hui c'est la fête chez l'apprenti-sorcier". In 1974, they recorded their most popular album, Au-delà du délire. In the late 1980s, they released their first compilation album, Vagabondages, which contained the band's well known songs such as "Le Soleil Est Trop", "Ces Ge", "Le Cimetieres Des Arle" and "Godevin Le V".
