Allele is an American alternative rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, the United States in 2002. The current band’s line-up composes of Wally Wood (vocals), Kelly Hayes (lead guitar), Giancarlo Autenzio (drums), Tim Tobin (bass) and of Josh Scott (rhythm guitar). The band is signed to Corporate Punishment Records. During their career, the band has released only one studio album. The debut one Point of Origin was released in 2005 and reached two singles “Closer to Habit” and “Stitches”. Both of them failed to chart. The band’s sound can be classified as nu metal, alternative metal, hard rock and post-grunge. In 2007, it was announced that the band broke up but they reformed in a quite short period of time.
