Alexandra Imelda Cecelia Ewan Burke, better known as Alexandra Burke is an English R&B, pop and soul singer-songwriter, born on August 25, 1988 in Islington, London, the UK. She rose to the national fame as a winner of a popular TV show the X Factor. As a winner, she received a contract with Simon Cowell's Syco record label. Her debut single “Hallelujah” was released in 2008. She quickly gained the popularity and reached the mainstream success. The single reached number one in the UK, Ireland and has become 6th in the European Union. The single went on to become 2 x Platinum in the UK. The next single Bad Boys (feat.
