Alanis Morissette is a Canadian singer, musician, actress and producer born on June 1, 1974 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She rose to the international fame in 1995 releasing her breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill which entered the list of the best-selling albums of all time. The album yielded such hit singles as You Oughta Know, All I Really Want and Hand in My Pocket. They helped Alanis to broke up the charts and the fourth single Ironic became the biggest hit from Morissette. Such songs like You Learn and Head Over Feet were in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 during a year. According to the RIAA Jagged Little Pill if the best-selling debut album recorded by a female artist. The U.S. sales reached 14 million copies and world sales were more than 30 million.
