Akwid is an American band. It was formed in Los Angeles, California. Akwid's musical genre is a mixture of Chicano rap, Latin, rap and hip-hop. The current members are Sergio Gomez and Francisco Gomez. The first name of band is "Juvenile Style". Akwid released over 15 albums such as "Hoy, Ayer, and Forever", "Kickin' It Juntos", "Dos En Uno", "Greatest Exitos", etc. All their albums were recorded by labels "Universal/Machete" and "Univision Music Group". The band's first album was released in 2003. Its name is "Proyecto Akwid". It consists of thirteen songs such as "No Hay Manera", "Pobre Compa", "Siempre Ausente", "Eso Es Todo (Outro)", etc. The band "Akwid" plans to release their new album in 2010.
