Agent Orange is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California, the United States in 1979. The current band’s line-up composes of Mike Palm (vocals, guitar), Perry Giordano (bass guitar) and Dusty Watson (drums). The band has contributed a lot to the development of the punk scene, though the band members stated that they didn’t feel belonging to that scene at all. However, they have become pioneers of mixing punk rock with surf music. The debut album of the band titled “Living in the Darkness” was released on Posh Boy Records in 1981. The record was produced by Daniel Van Patten. Allmusic gives it 4,5 stars out of 5. Three songs featuring the albums are covers of classic surf instrumentals, like "Pipeline" by The Chantays, "Miserlou" by Dick Dale, and "Mr. Moto" by The Bel-Airs.
