Grammy nominated American comedy rapper Afroman (birth name Joseph Foreman) was born on July 29, 1974, in Palmdale, California, United States. He began rapping in the eighth grade, and in his church he played drums and guitar. He came to prominence with his singles "Because I Got High" (which peaked at number 1 on the UK Singles Chart) and "Crazy Rap". It contained his two hit singles: a Grammy nominated song "Because I Got High" and "Crazy Rap", along with his other popular songs from his two albums.
