Adagio is a French symphonic metal band formed in Montpellier, Languedoc-Rousseillion, France in 2000. The band’s current lineup composes of Stephan Forté - guitar, Christian Palin - vocals, Franck Hermanny - bass, Kevin Codfert - keyboards and of Eric Lébailly – drums. The band’s style can be also classified as Neo-Classical metal and progressive metal. During its career the band has released four studio albums, and the last one Archangels in Black was released in February 2009. According to the band this album is “the ultimate balance between melodic and extreme metal and can be considered as a more brutal version of Underworld". This album is the deabut one for the band’s new vocalist Christian Palin. The albums contains nine tracks, like Archangels in Black, Codex Oscura, Getsu Senshi and others.
