Ace of Base of a Swedish pop band formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1987. The band was founded by Ulf Ekberg (Buddha) and siblings Jonas Berggren (Joker) and Jenny Berggren and Malin "Linn" Berggren. The latter left the band in 2007 and right now, they perform as trio. The band released their debut album in 1993 and quickly rose to fame. The album Happy Nation/The Sign climbed on the top of many charts in different countries. It was number one in the UK, in the U.S., Canada, Germany, France and Denmark. Total sales reached 23 million copies making the album Diamond in France, 9 x Platinum in the United States and 10 x Platinum in Canada. The album featured a hit singles number “All That She Wants” and “The Sign”. Other minor hits included "Wheel of Fortune", "Waiting for Magic" and some others.
