AC/DC are an Australian rock band from Sydney, formed in 1973 and still performing. The founder members are Malcolm and Angus Young. Other contemporary members are Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd. The group is considered to be one of the most popular rock bands around the world and pioneers of heavy metal. During their long career they produced 17 studio albums, and were nominated 5 times for Grammy Awards. Their widely known hits include Highway to Hell, Back in Black, Big gun, Hard as a Rock, You Shook Me All Night Long and many others. The group was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They collaborated with many celebrities, like Steve Tyler for example and in total their sales are second after the Beatles.
