Biography: Aaron Neville is an American soul and R&B singer, born on January 24 in 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States. He is of African American and Native American origin. He started his career being a member of a family band The Neville Brothers. Neville gained his first popularity with his number one Billboard Hit “Tell It Like It Is” in 1967. Among his most popular singles are “Don't Take Away My Heaven”, “Everybody Plays The Fool” and “Please Remember Me” featuring Linda Ronstadt. In 2008, he released his compilation album Gold which includes his best hits. September 2009 saw his last release Heat. Neville has recorded 17 original albums and 23 singles in total.
