| Biography: |
A la Carte was a German disco-band established in 1978 by a married couple of Tony Hendrik and Karin van Haaren, who were hired by German record label Hansa International. It was a project of a three-girl pop group, who were especially popular in Europe at that time. The first single “When Boys Come Home” was released in 1979 and performed by three British girls: Pasty Fuller, Julia and Elane. After the release, A la Carte was invited to star in a famous German TV-show “Musikladen”. In 1981, two members were replaced. Jeanny Renshaw, Linda Daniels and Joy Martin released a new single “You Get Me On the Run”. The last single, “In the Summer Sun of Greece”, was released in 1982 and in 1983 A la Carte disappeared from the fans’ sight. You can download the albums by A la Carte in MP3 from our site.
