8ball and MJG are a hip-hop duo from Memphis, Tennessee, the United States. The two rappers met each other in 1984 when they were at school and started their music career together in 1991. The birth names of the members are Premrose Smith (8ball) and Marlon Jermaine Goodwin (MJG). They emerged on the rap scene in 1993 releasing their debut album Comin’ Out Hard. During their career, the duo has released eight studio albums. Three of them were certified Gold in the United States - On Top Of The World, In Our Lifetime, and Living Legends.
