The 69 Eyes are a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 1989. The band’s current line-up composes of Jussi 69 – drums, Bazie – lead guitar, Jyrki 69 – vocals, Timo-Timo – guitar, Archzie – bass. At the beginning of their career, the band’s sound was a mixture of glam rock and hard rock inspired by such acts like Mötley Crüe and Hanoi Rocks. However, they departed from this imagery and moved to gothic rock mixed with rock and roll. They call their style as “Goth’n’Roll”. This time their music was inspired by The Doors, Billy Idol, The Sisters of Mercy and Elvis Presley. During its career, the band has released ten studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, one extended play and 19 singles. The debut album Bump’n’Grind was released in 1992 and the last one Back in Blood came out in 2009.
