American metal band 36 Crazyfists was formed in Anchorage, Alaska in 1994. The original line-up composed of vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarists Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell, bassist JD Stuart, and drummer Thomas Noonan. Currently, the band is based in Portland, Oregon. The band’s style can be classified as metalcore, post-hardcore and nu-metal. The band was signed by Roadrunner Records in 2000 and soon, they released their debut major label album Bitterness the Star in 2002. In order to support the album, the band embarked on a tour with such bands like Candiria, God Forbid, Chimaira, Diecast and others.
