American alternative rock, rap metal and rap rock band 311 from Omaha, Nebraska, was formed in 1988. The band comprises Nick Hexum, S. A. Martinez, Aaron Wills, Tim Mahoney and Chad Sexton. They rose to fame in 1993 with their album, Music, which produced two singles, "Freak Out" and "Do You Right". The single "Do You Right" received airplay on modern rock stations and reached number 27 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
