American rapper 2Pac (born Tupac Amaru Shakur, June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996) was among the most dynamic, influential, and self-destructive rappers of the '90s. He also known as Makaveli or simply Pac. He is one of the best-selling music artists in the world. He was also a promising actor and a social activist. In 1996, he released his fourth and most commercially-successful album, All Eyez on Me, which spawned six singles, "California Love" (feat. Dr. Dre & Roger Troutman), "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" (feat. Snoop Dogg), "How Do U Want It" (feat. K-Ci and JoJo), "All Bout U", "Life Goes On" and "I Ain't Mad at Cha". The album was also certified 9x Platinum by the RIAA. The album's lead singles, "California Love", was nominated for a posthumous Grammy Award as a Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group (with Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman) in 1997.
